After a busy week at work, I needed to unwind with something non-taxing on the brain. Reviews of the new Bridget Jones kept popping up on good reads, so I gave it a whirl.
'Mad about the boy' is what it is, a somewhat silly but enjoyable love story. We see Bridget mourne mark Darcy (not a spoiler, everyone knows!). She's now 50 and looking for love. Predictably, she makes an absolute eejit of herself along the way.
look, it's good. It's not great. It's good. It's a series that should have stopped after book 2. But in saying that, I flew through it and it was a lovely way to end my busy days!
